Voice of Truth and Peace

The seventh of October was not only a security failure; it was a failure of purpose — strength without wisdom, power without justice. Out of that reckoning comes a rare moment of choice: to continue toward isolation and division, or to rebuild governance around justice and meaning. We choose the second path.

Truth (אמת) means alignment between word and reality, between what we claim to be and what we are. Peace (שלום) is not the mere absence of war but wholeness and right relationship. The name recalls Aaron, who "loved peace and pursued peace." These are not soft values; they are the hardest to live by.

In Genesis it is said of Abraham that he was chosen "to keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and righteousness" (צדקה ומשפט). A people is not redeemed by power but by justice. This is the calling we seek to recover — to be, as Isaiah envisioned, a light to the nations.

Four calls hold together: the return of every hostage as a moral duty before all else; wisdom rather than dominance in security; community and connection through a federal, decentralized order; and a renewal of culture, learning, and spiritual life. Strength comes from depth of character, not breadth of weapons.

This is not a campaign brochure, not a news outlet, and not a platform for slogans. It is a place for covenant, for Directives, for proposals, judgments, and public thought — and for the long, patient work of moral responsibility.

The movement was begun by Nachliel Shilo, of Jerusalem — a writer and father, not a career politician — out of conscience rather than calculation. It does not ask agreement on every question, only a shared commitment to justice and truth, and the will to act.

Eight values guide everything we do: justice, truth, compassion, peace, honour, integrity, humility, and clean hands. They are published in many languages so that all who live in this land — and all who watch it — can read the vision plainly and hold us to it.
