This War Is a Lie

The Israel-Iran war is a political deception and fraud into which almost all Israeli leaders have fallen – right and left, coalition and opposition, and the civil leadership echelon. A lie exploding in all our faces, day after day, night after night.

A war without purpose, without a real goal – only pride swelling the heart, governmental arrogance, and foreign interests leading us straight to the abyss.

The world is full of bitter enemies, some even with nuclear capabilities – India and Pakistan, Russia and the USA, South and North Korea – all stand aside, maintaining mutual deterrence, understanding the limits of power. Only in Israel do they believe “now or never,” blatantly ignoring the balance of terror, the consequences of war expansion – and the great danger of nuclear confrontation.

And here in Israel, the fractured, wounded, divided state – the flag bearers march with closed eyes toward a regional, perhaps global, collision that no one is willing to bear the consequences of.

The war with Iran is not only a mistake – it is a political crime led by deep blindness, collective stupidity, and the lost way of the criminal leadership. The Israeli public is dragged into an illusion, hunted by the war trumpets, while its leaders – all of them – completely submit to the dictates and folly and march into a bottomless pit.

And it is not only the government

It is not only the government – it is the broad consent, the indifference, the stupidity, the machismo and militarism, the silencing and cooperation of all layers of leadership: the government, the Knesset, the opposition, protest leaders, heads of civil organizations, broadcasters and journalists, rabbis and academics, community leaders in the country and diaspora – all together abandoned the public and surrendered to the lie.

All remained silent.
All supported.
All went astray after that “battle cry” of those leading us toward ruin.

And this is the greatest disgrace of all: that there is not a single clear, responsible, resolute voice capable of stopping the madness.

The stupidity, short-sightedness, and cowardice that have spread in Israeli public life cry out to the heavens. And if there is one clear conclusion, it is this: whoever has not stood against this war is unfit for leadership.
